  For the best fit, follow these measurement guidelines:

  • Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms
  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline
  • Seat: Measure around the fullest part of your hips
  • Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the ankle
  • Sleeve Length: Measure from the center back of your neck to your wrist

  Measure around the fullest part of the chest/bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

  Waist Measurement

  Measure around the natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

  Hip/Seat Measurement

  Measure around the fullest part of the hips/buttocks, approximately 7-9 inches below the waist.

  Sleeve Length

  We are proud to ship our handmade Kenyan clothing directly to you from our workshop in Kenya. Because your order is crossing an international border, it may be subject to local customs fees, import duties, and taxes in your country.

  These charges are not included in the price you pay on our website and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Your local customs authority or parcel carrier will contact you to arrange payment before delivery. These fees are standard for online shopping outside the EU.

  How to estimate these costs (Netherlands example):

  For a shipment to the Netherlands, you can expect to pay:

  • VAT (BTW): A standard 21% of the total customs value (product price + shipping) .

  • Import duties: For clothing, this is typically 0% to 12% of the product value. For items valued over €150, you will likely pay around 12% duty on clothing .

  Why this matters for you: We use a shipping term called DAP (Delivered at Place) . This means we manage the export process from Kenya and deliver the package to your address. However, the responsibility for customs clearance and paying any import duties and taxes lies with you, the buyer, on arrival .

  A note on your EU-Kenya trade agreement: Kenya has an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the EU . This aims to make trade easier, and you may benefit from reduced or zero import duties on some products. However, you will still be responsible for paying any applicable VAT and other handling fees. The exact amount will be calculated by your local customs authority
